Safe holidays: 50 companies obtain the HOSBEC anti-COVID seal

The “Tourism Covid19 Protocol-ON” accreditation certifies that the establishments follow strict protocols and prevention and safety measures

Fifty establishments associated with HOSBEC throughout the Valencian Community have obtained the “Tourism Covid19 Protocol-ON” seal, which certifies that they follow strict protocols and prevention and security measures to minimize the risk of coronavirus infections.

“Since work began on the reopening of tourist establishments at the beginning of June, HOSBEC launched a system to be able to recognize and accredit those companies that have adapted and are committed to meeting the requirements established by the health authorities, and they have implemented the Post Covid19 reopening guide for hotel establishments and tourist accommodation in the Valencian Community ”, explains the hotel business association.

Thus, the main objective of the “Tourism Covid19 Protocol-ON” accreditation is to “recognize companies that, through a responsible declaration and a contribution of all the documentation and evidence on their compliance, have demonstrated the adoption of the required measures of prevention in its facilities, among its staff and suppliers and of course for its customers ”.

Thus, fifty establishments associated with HOSBEC throughout the Valencian Community have obtained this recognition: 39 in the province of Alicante, 6 in the province of Castellón, 5 in the province of Valencia.

Among the companies that have obtained the seal, there are 39 Hotels, 4 tourist apartments, 3 campsites, and 4 companies offering complementary services.

“15 more can be added to these establishments in the coming days, which are the ones that are currently processing their accreditation with the examination of the implemented protocols,” reports HOSBEC.

The new accreditation developed by HOSBEC.

The general secretary of HOSBEC, Nuria Montes, has highlighted “the seriousness and exhaustive control of this accreditation that is carried out by the Health and Quality technicians of this association with ample experience”.

“Any of the establishments that have this accreditation can ensure that the analysis and detail of the protocols implemented is as exhaustive as it is demanding. We have never played with health, and if we have been accrediting quality systems and HACCP systems in food hygiene for 20 years, at Covid19 we have applied even higher levels of demand “.
